Blogging by mail: Mon colis d'Australie!

Une fois n'est pas coutume, ce billet sera rédigé en deux langues... Généralement, je n'ai ni la patience, ni le temps de traduire mes recettes, même si je sais que la cloire interplanétaire serait à ce prix! Cette fois, pourtant, je devais bien ça à Kathryn de Limes and Lycopene, ma gentille bienfaitrice australienne... J'ai en effet participé au Blogging By Mail: Holiday Edition, une version outremer de notre Blogcolis/Déballe mon blog, organisé par Happy Sorceress.

I think this is the first post I ever write in English. Not that I want to exclude international readers, which would certainly guarantee fame and wealthiness *rolleyes*, but I'm generally too lazy to do so... This time, though, I owed it to Kathryn from Limes and Lycopene, who sent me a lovely Australian holiday package back in January. I really would like to thank her properly, as well as the Happy Sorceress, who organised the whole thing. And we all know how hard and time-consuming it is!

Donc voici toutes les chouettes choses que j'ai reçu... Un petit pot de confiture maison aux abricots (et aux noyaux d'abricots!), un paquet de fruits exotiques séchés, un mélange d'épices maison, une boîte de bonbons au chocolat aux noix, un mélange d'épices pour barbecue, des bâtonnets de romarin qui font office de piques à brochettes, un livret de cartes postales de Sidney et un exemplaire d'un journal culinaire made in là-bas...

So, here are the great goodies Kathryn sent me... home-made apricot jam (with apricot kernels), dried exotic fruit, home-made spices mix, Chocolate and nuts gummies, BBQ spices mix, rosemary BBQ skewers, a 2007 calendar with Sidney postcards and some yummy Australian recipes...

J'ai aussi reçu un petit personnage en chocolat et un sachet de thé de Noël délicieusement parfumé mais je les ai laissés au boulot, donc malheureusement pas de photos...

I also got another chocolate treat and some wonderful holiday tea but they're at work so I don't have a picture...
